This exhibition features a selection of posters from the collections in the Print Department of the Boston Public Library. The majority of World War II posters were published from 1939 to 1945 by the United States Government Printing Office. They were a visual call to arms for all citizens. On display in the Wiggin Gallery at the Boston Public Library in 2007. A follow-up exhibition featuring American World War I posters is now in the works; set to open July 2008.
