LAB at Harvard Launch
- exhibitions
The Lab at Harvard is a three-year experiment to explore how cultural exhibition within common university spaces can catalyze student idea development in the arts and design at the frontiers of science and engineering. The Lab is located at the Northwest Laboratory Building on the Harvard Campus and is the site for exhibitions and events throughout the year.
The Lab at Harvard launched its season on October 7 2010 with a one-night event/exhibit that included two components: Three States of Hors D’oeuvres and Ideas that Bounce. The Lab partnered with Soccket to create Ideas that Bounce!, The design of this event/exhibit featured a soccer arena which showcased a unique soccer ball prototype that captures energy and exports electricity.
The Lab also partnered with Project on Spatial Studies to create Three States of Hors D’oeuvres. This unique experience enabled visitors to spatially consume taste, smell, and knowledge from an affective, and educational experience.
