I was introduced to Citizen Schools in 2001 when I was asked to be a volunteer apprentice. My curiosity got the best of me and I eagerly signed up for the task. Teaching a bunch of sixth graders about the history and evolution of Boston- and why not? I loved it. I ended up teaching three apprenticeships and meeting lots of great people.
